QuickMD Introduces Home Delivery of Medication for Addiction Treatment Patients
New offering gives eligible addiction treatment patients a discreet, affordable option to receive medication directly at home.
LOS ANGELES, August 5, 2025 — QuickMD, one of the largest direct-to-consumer telemedicine platforms in the U.S., announced the launch of home delivery for buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone®), giving eligible addiction treatment patients another way to receive their medication without making a trip to a local pharmacy. The service launched today, through a pharmacy partner and became available to eligible patients in 43 states and Washington, D.C. Patients can receive generic buprenorphine-naloxone in 8 mg/2 mg tablets or films and in eligible 30, 60 or 90-day quantities when prescribed by a QuickMD clinician.
“For patients with opioid use disorder, staying on treatment matters,” said Dr. Robert Stern, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of QuickMD. “Unfortunately, people with valid buprenorphine prescriptions can still encounter stigma, delays or difficulty filling their medication at a pharmacy. Home delivery gives patients another reliable and private way to access the treatment their clinician has prescribed.”
QuickMD worked with its pharmacy partners to offer competitive cash-pay pricing for home delivery. Insurance is not currently accepted for medications delivered through the program, but patients who prefer to use insurance can continue having prescriptions sent to an eligible local pharmacy. QuickMD has also introduced an online pricing calculator to help patients compare available options and understand the most affordable way to receive their medication.

Home delivery removes one more barrier and gives people greater control over how they receive their medication, while preserving the option to use a local pharmacy if that works better for them.”
The home delivery service builds on QuickMD’s medication-assisted treatment program for opioid use disorder, which connects patients with licensed clinicians through private phone or video visits. Medication is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, and patients can continue receiving ongoing care through QuickMD while choosing the pharmacy option that works best for them.
