Frequently asked questions
Depression and anxiety are often treated with antidepressants like SSRIs and SNRIs, along with other non-controlled medications. The right medication depends on your symptoms and medical history. Your clinician will recommend what’s appropriate for you.
Book an online mental health visit with a licensed clinician. You’ll talk through your symptoms, medical history, and any medications you’ve tried. If medication is appropriate for you, your clinician can prescribe medication and build an ongoing treatment plan.
Common types include antidepressants (such as SSRIs and SNRIs), anti-anxiety medications, sleep medications, and other non-controlled treatments. During your virtual visit, a QuickMD clinician will evaluate your symptoms and recommend a treatment plan that’s appropriate for your needs. Not all medications are available through telemedicine. Prescriptions are not guaranteed and are only prescribed when medically appropriate.
