QuickMD Launches Its First Grant-Funded Program To Expand MAT Access
A $500,000 grant from Mississippi’s Opioid Settlement Fund will provide access to 5,000 Medication-Assisted Treatment visits for qualifying state residents
LOS ANGELES, September 10, 2026 — QuickMD, one of the largest direct-to-consumer telemedicine platforms in the U.S., today announced the launch of its Mississippi MAT Access Program, a $500,000 initiative funded through the state of Mississippi’s Opioid Settlement Fund that will provide addiction treatment visits at no cost to qualifying Mississippi residents.
The program will fund up to 5,000 Medication-Assisted Treatment visits, with each patient eligible for up to 10 covered visits. Patients can meet privately by phone or video with licensed clinicians on QuickMD’s telemedicine platform experienced in treating opioid use disorder. When clinically appropriate, clinicians may prescribe medications such as buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone®) to help manage opioid cravings and withdrawal. The grant covers eligible clinical care, and does not cover the cost of prescribed medication.

This program gives more people in Mississippi an opportunity to receive ongoing treatment without the visit cost standing in the way.”
Mississippi residents can visit a dedicated QuickMD page and complete a short qualification form. Those who qualify can receive up to 10 covered visits while grant funding remains available. QuickMD will also offer counseling and peer support through the program, giving patients additional support alongside their medical care.
