QuickMD Launches Mental Health Visits for Depression and Anxiety
New service expands access to evidence-based treatment in New York, North Carolina and Mississippi, with additional states coming soon.
LOS ANGELES, July 5, 2026 — QuickMD, one of the largest direct-to-consumer telemedicine platforms in the U.S., today announced the launch of a new mental health service focused on medication management for depression, anxiety and related insomnia. The service launched in New York, North Carolina and Mississippi, with additional states planned in the coming weeks.
The new service gives adults access to licensed clinicians by private phone or video visit, often as soon as the same day. Visits cost $99, with no insurance, subscription or long-term commitment required. The service is focused specifically on evaluating symptoms and managing medications. It does not include therapy, and QuickMD does not prescribe benzodiazepines or stimulants through the program.
“Mental health and substance use are often deeply connected, and we see that every day in the patients we care for,” said Dr. Robert Stern, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of QuickMD. “Someone working to regain control of their life may also be struggling with depression, anxiety or sleep. Expanding our clinical services allows us to address more of those needs and give patients an evidence-based treatment plan that reflects the whole person.”
QuickMD has built one of the nation’s largest virtual addiction treatment programs, providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder as well as care for patients experiencing 7-OH and kratom dependence. The addition of mental health medication management expands the range of conditions QuickMD clinicians can address for both existing and new patients. When clinically appropriate, clinicians may prescribe commonly used medications including SSRIs such as sertraline (Zoloft®), escitalopram (Lexapro®) and fluoxetine (Prozac®); SNRIs such as duloxetine (Cymbalta®); and other antidepressants including bupropion XL (Wellbutrin XL®) and trazodone. Every treatment plan is based on an individual clinical evaluation, and prescriptions are not guaranteed.
The launch also builds on QuickMD’s expanding home delivery capabilities, allowing eligible patients to receive certain medications directly at home. Together, virtual visits and medication delivery are designed to reduce the travel, scheduling and geographic barriers that can make ongoing mental health care difficult to access.
