Mometasone is a corticosteroid similar to cortisone, a hormone the adrenal glands produce. Cortisone reduces inflammation, and mometasone alleviates inflammation-related symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever), psoriasis, and eczema.

  • Cream, Ointment, Lotion: Apply to affected skin areas twice a day.

  • Red bumps or rash near the mouth
  • White or red skin bumps
  • Changes in skin color
