    Frequently asked questions

    • What is included with weight loss services at QuickMD?

We offer a range of GLP-1 medication options tailored to your unique health and weight loss goals. Our weight loss consultations are just $99, during which your licensed provider will work with you to understand your target weight, health concerns, and budget to help you choose the right medication. Your provider can send your prescription to your local pharmacy.

Medication costs aren’t included in the consultation fee and will vary based on your pharmacy and prescription drug benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before your appointment, as most GLP-1 medications aren’t exclusively approved for weight management.

There are no membership fees or long-term commitments, giving you the flexibility to change medications if needed. Established patients may also qualify for 90-day prescriptions.

    • What are the side effects of weight loss medications?

Some of the most common side effects of Ozempic®, Rybelsus®, Wegovy®, and Mounjaro® may include nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. For a complete list of side effects and other important medical information please visit the Ozempic®, Rybelsus®, Wegovy®, and  Mounjaro®  websites.

    • How much does weight loss medication cost?

The cost of weight loss medication depends on several factors, including the specific medication prescribed, the dosage, and how often you take it—just like most prescriptions. In some cases, higher doses may be recommended over time to achieve the best results, which can influence overall cost.
